There is only one word to describe this 1,100 square foot home in Nova Lima, MG, Brazil and it is breathtaking.
It was designed by Denise Macedo Arquitetos Associados in 2010 and almost seems to float in a landscape of hills, jungle and sky. With huge glass walls, natural hardwoods, marble, iron beams, and white interior walls, the clean and simple lines of the house contrast sharply with its lush surroundings.
The natural simplicity of this impressive design allows the outside world to dominate. Living in this house is like living outdoors. These home offerings are important meeting and entertainment venues, and there are hidden retreats for meditating, reflecting on the beauty of the world, and family life.
