Heat the iron according to the recommendations for the fiber material of your carpet.
For example, in an industrial environment, there is a risk that plastic and polyester materials could be burned out and cause even more damage.

Place the paper towel over the wax stain and place the iron on top. After a few seconds, lift the iron and check that the wax has fully adhered to the towel. If it doesn’t, reposition the iron and let the towel pick it up.
Repeat all steps until the paper towel has absorbed every drop of wax.

Step 3: it’s time to be proud of your cleaning methods

Solution 2:

1. When cleaning wax stains, it’s important to get to work as soon as you spot one. If you leave it there longer, you may not be able to remove it completely.
2. Take a plastic bag and put some ice in it.
3. Lay the pouch down and press it directly over the stain.
4. Give the wax a few minutes to freeze.
5. Take a blunt knife, remove the pouch, and scrape the wax off your carpet.
6. To remove the remnants of the wax stain, tell a clean cloth or brown paper bag and place it over the damaged area.
7. Warm up your iron and slowly press it over the bag. Once you do this the paper / cloth will pick up the wax and once you lift it there will be nothing on the carpet. If necessary, repeat this process several times.
8. To make sure that there is no wax residue left on the carpet, clean it and scrub the area with your usual solution.
Let’s go – you have freed your carper from an annoying wax stain all by yourself!

Solution 3:

There is an even easier way to remove wax from your carpet:
1. Instead of freezing the stain, first scrape it off with a blunt knife. It may take some time, but wax will eventually let go of the fibers of your carpet.
2. If necessary, you can refill a plastic bag with ice cubes and apply it to the damaged area to freeze the wax residue.
3. Remove the residue in a similar manner with a blunt knife.
4. If you have a vacuum cleaner with a pad holder, use it to collect the remains of the wax.
5. The damage can be greater with a colored candle, as well as with a colored stain. In this case, take a white cloth and pour some rubbing alcohol on it. Blot the stain slowly and gently as rubbing can damage your carpet even more.
6. At the end, take a clean, dry towel and blot your carpet until it dries out.
You’ve been throwing a great Christmas party, at least until your naughty kids were chasing around and throwing a burning candle right over your new carpet. At this point everyone will start suggesting solutions (most of which involve ironing a paper bag over the stain), but the truth is, if you don’t know how to do it, there is a great chance of making the situation worse.

The first thing you need to do is remove the larger pieces by hand, and this is where you will collect most of it. The logical step for most of us would be to scrape off the wax with a knife. However, you should be aware of the possibility of damaging it and blurring the area. In this case, you can lay scissors flat on the surface, press the pivot point down, and cut off the fluff.

Heat exchange is a great way to get to the core of carpet fibers as it not only cleans the surface but also pulls out any remaining wax.

Unfortunately, the chances are good that the waxed area will lose its color, especially if a lighter colored carpet is treated. For this reason, you should always try to treat a stain with a high performance solvent or stain remover.

Cleaning stains on synthetic carpets

If a synthetic carpet is damaged by wax, it is best to rub it down with an ice pack until it is difficult enough to remove. Once broken, pieces of wax can be easily collected with a vacuum cleaner. You can then treat the carpet with a cleaning agent recommended by the carpet manufacturer. At the end, use a clean, damp cloth to clean and repeat the process as often as necessary.
