Designed by Denis Rakaev is the graphite penthouse, a contemporary project in Kiev, Ukraine. The graphite penthouse is unique in style and has a uniform look throughout the house.
It gives you a taste of the majestic, salient features that make the place stand out as if it should stand on its own, and in every way.
The contrast between the dark and white tones makes a bold statement to anyone who sees them, and it all starts when you walk through the front door.
As you step into the well-lit living room, you are greeted with hardwood floors that run through the entire space. This gives the house a lighter texture which is then slightly darkened with some panels in the walls as well as the decor.
The lighting that is emitted is bright in some rooms and a little subtle in others.
This two bedroom penthouse has space to enjoy the wonderful views from above, either in the living room while entertaining guests or from the bedroom, morning or evening.
While storage space may seem small when looking at a blueprint, every inch of the storage space is used so storage is not a problem. And the lighter tones that graze through the darker tones give the room a relief of texture as well as a brightness.
Each room is a work of art made up of the bedrooms, bathrooms and the kitchen so a person can be impressed and amazed whether they have lived there for years or saw the place for the first time.
