The Mosman House project, created by Anderson Architecture in collaboration with MacKenzie Design Studio, is a stunning modern addition to an existing home in suburban Sydney, Australia.
Its white and wood tones combine the original color scheme and seamlessly transform the house into its natural surroundings. The back of the house is completely open to a back yard so that the residents of the apartment can enjoy everything that nature has to offer without sacrificing the comforts of indoor living.
In addition, stylish design elements, including an elegant pantry with plenty of built-in storage space and high-gloss cabinets, integrate the way people actually live in a beautiful and functional space.
In fact, there are built-in storage units throughout the room, often with shelves the same color as the walls to minimize the attention the shelves draw. Features such as a glass railing-stair railing provide a touch of elegance that also makes living rooms appear larger and more open.
