If all of the houses around you seem to curve around the area or property, maybe your house should stand out a little and stick to the angles.
This must be the thought of that designer Jestico + Whiles when they came home with the concept for Villa Pruhonice. The house of the Villa Pruhonice is located in the Czech Republic near Prague in Pruhonice.
Even from the sky, this house is designed with straight edges and angles that remind you of a giant block or rectangle. However, it’s far from a block when you look up close. The yard is a great feature with a large wooden deck, lawn yard, and pond built right next to the deck.
When you sit on the deck you still have a full view of the inside of the house thanks to the large glass windows and doors that take up the entire side of the building. This includes the upper floor, which has a small outside deck but is big enough to go out and catch your breath.
Walk inside and you will be greeted with sky lights to enhance the windows and bring out the natural light in the house. The glass doors may allow little to no privacy, but they don’t block the lighting that other doors would provide. The stairs are the best feature for all three floors.
It’s surrounded by glass and if you look up as you walk you feel like you’re in space as you go up the stairs. There’s even a built-in view of the aquarium right into the wall. The main bathroom includes a step in the 3 person tub / hot tub and the kitchen is so modern you might forget you stayed in a home rather than a fancy hotel.
