Are you bored of your old table or table lamp and planning to replace it? If so, think again, you can safely use it. Here in this article we give you a simple table or a desk lamp can be converted into a wall-mounted table lamp. This will make the room look more interesting than before with nothing more than a change of location from desk to wall. Step 1 –
Weight your lamp. If you think it is heavy enough to tip over when mounting on the wall, you need extra support. This can be done by simply adding a piece of wooden block under the lamp while attaching it to the wall. You can paint this block with the same color in the room or lamp, to avoid it looking different.
Step 2 –
If you feel that the bottom of the lamp is strong enough or the weight of the lamp is low, you do not need to add a wooden block.
Step 3 –
Using a drill, make two holes on each side of the lamp holder and one in the middle.
Step 4 –
Trace these boreholes on the wall, drill them and add support anchors to the dry wall.
Step 5 –
Through the base drill screws into the anchors in the plaster wall. That was all that was needed to have a wall mounted desk lamp.
These should be adjusted before, to the place it needed to be mounted. They are prefect within reach and also provide quite amazing light. They are now just no longer on the desk and dive more space to receive other things such as vases or photo frames. Plus the look is similar to the hotels. Assuming you have all the necessary materials ready, it only takes 30 minutes to do this entire installation and super cheap as well. Children are really fascinated by such lamps. Having a folding or removable screen holder in the lamp will provide additional benefits of moving the lamp to any desktop corner during work. Having these around the edges of the beds provides a spa that appeals to the room.
