Greg Shand Architects in Singapore created the Nautical Lines Residence as a unique homage to the sea and nautical life. The Nautical Lines Residence doesn’t exactly match the stereotype of a property by the sea.
Many people think of an older, more rustic location when trying to visually design their oceanfront homes, which makes many oceanfront properties look the same. It also has a way of making properties by the sea a thing of the past, which is not true.
Nautical Lines Residence is sure to update the concept of an oceanfront property. It is authentically a product of modern times and design. Spaceships themselves were almost an updated version of naval ships that they took out of the sea and brought into space.
This Nautical Lines Residence almost feels like an effort going in exactly the same direction. Everything inside feels rounded, smooth and sterile. Almost every surface is reflective, so that the inside of the Nautical Lines Residence appears even larger than it actually is.
The emphasis on gray and white inside the house extends to the outside of the house. The exterior has a property that seems to wrap around the roof as if it provides a protective layer from the sea.
