Designed by a French interior designer Tatiana Nicol, bright and airy rooms accentuated by splashes of color are the name of the game. Taupes, white and gray really open up the room and characterize it as a bright and friendly apartment. The exposed beams, a mainstay of many Parisian apartments, are painted in similar colors that seem to maximize the height of the ceilings.
Turquoise, oranges and deep blue can be seen in small bumps throughout the apartment, giving the impression of a modern and cozy space. Perfect for cozy evenings in or for fun cocktail parties.
Tatiana Nicol has stated that she designed this modern apartment in Paris to combine practicality, originality and beauty. she definitely succeeded. One of the most beautiful original details can be seen in the entrance to the bedroom – a small section in the living area looks like a grotto that opens up to the wonderfully cozy master bedroom.
Practicality is evident in Nicol’s treatment of the kitchen. Although the space is small, storage space has been maximized with neat shelving and subtle cabinets, leaving plenty of extra space for cooking and entertaining.
A fantastic large window above the sink lets in plenty of daylight into the apartment. As a result, the property’s lighting is subtle and low-key. Just a couple of copper-colored hanging lamps above the simple dining table and sink, plus a few free-standing lamps that exude a touch of shabby chic.
